Analysts Considering General Motor Stock As The Company Announces EV Plan

Name of opportunity: 👀

General Motors Co

Electricity: 💡

General Motors Co is getting positive feedback from analysts in response to its decision to issue a new model of the Chevrolet Bolt EV. Doing this instead of releasing brand new vehicles will save General Motors billions of dollars, and will also enable them to offer this product on the market much sooner. The new Bolt is intended to be a reasonably priced electric car, competing with Chinese brands that so far have been much more affordable.

The Chevrolet Bolt will be able to use the Tesla Supercharger network, which is currently outperforming its competitors. Other charging network companies such as Blink recently saw their stocks drop when GM and Ford chose to partner with Tesla’s network.

General Motors have also decided to drop the price on the Chevrolet Blazer EV, releasing it back onto the market after fixing some software issues. With the Bolt and Blazer both setting prices deliberately lower, GM might see success in the EV sphere compared to its US competitors.

How hot is this investment opportunity? 🔥🔥🔥

According to analysts, GM could increase in value from $39.67 to $49.45 in the next 12 months. If you invested $1000, you might profit $251.80.

GM is currently recommended by analysts as a ‘Buy’. Analysts think it might have upside potential, so investors who are interested in selecting stocks based on the likelihood that they will grow might want to check this one out.

Put the pedal to the metal: 🚘

General Motors Co is a multinational automotive manufacturer based in the United States. It’s most famous for owning the four following brands: Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac and Buick. Across these brands, the company produces mainstream cars, trucks, SUVs, luxury vehicles and race cars.

In 1996, General Motors actually created the first modern electric vehicle by a major automaker. The EV1 was discontinued in 1999 partly because it was the company’s opinion that it was not commercially viable, in part because battery technology was not advanced enough yet.

The company has been a major US automotive manufacturer since its beginnings in 1915, as a holding company for the brand Buick.
