A ‘Buy’, Boeing Considers Issuing New Stock | Nemo

Name of opportunity: 👀

The Boeing Company,

Stock sale: 🛍️

Boeing is in meetings with advisors to discuss a stock sale to raise funds - it could raise US$10 billion. Issuing new stock would cause the value of the company’s current stock to fall, as the market would be diluted by all the new shares. However, according to analysts, Boeing is currently a ‘Buy’. The company has been struggling with a number of issues, from striking workers during a labour shortage to a high level of debt, all of which have forced the stock price down - but if it can increase in value to the extent that analysts predict, there is a chance that investors could make a profit.

How hot is this investment opportunity? 🔥🔥🔥

Analysts predict the price of the Boeing Company will increase from $151.51 to $219.16 in the next 12 months. If you invested $1000, you might profit $452.64.

While Boeing is currently experiencing some difficulties (the company itself is in ‘Below Average’ financial health) it still remains the largest aerospace company in the world, with some valuable government contracts. Some analysts think that this could be a good time to invest in Boeing and that the stock will bounce back to a higher price. The stock is currently at its lowest price since 2022 meaning that it might be an opportunity to invest at an unusually cheap price.

If the company’s CEO Kelly Ortberg (who is fairly new, having taken up the role in August) can resolve the ongoing strike, it might improve the situation for the company or at least provide some clarity on what’s happening. The strike has been described as among the most important labour disputes in America today. The stock sale the company is discussing would likely not take place until the strike is resolved, meaning that investors will probably sit back and wait to see what happens...
