The US-based snack company, which mostly sells chocolate and other sweet treats, has recently been attracting attention from analysts and investors alike because of its dividends. In the company’s Q2 earnings report, Mondelez announced that it would be increasing its dividend payout by 11%. Shareholders will get their hands on the new, bumped up, quarterly dividend this October.

While the Q2 earnings showed that sales were not amazing (net revenue dropping 1.9%), organic net revenue was up 2.5%. Mondelez also has a strong history of carrying out share buybacks, which investors are often very happy to see in a company - it can drive up the value of the stock.
