The short version
Nvidia (NVDA) trades on the Nasdaq in New York. You do not need a US address or a US bank account to research and invest in it from the UAE.
One share costs around $205 as of 2 November 2026. The 52-week range has been roughly $164 to $243, so that number moves.
You do not have to buy a whole share. Fractional investing means you can start from $1 and own a slice.
Nvidia is currently the world's second most valuable company, at roughly $4.94 trillion.
Its next results are on 17 November 2026, after the US market closes.
Three things this guide will not do: tell you whether to buy it, predict where the price goes, or suggest how much to invest. Those are your decisions, and the risks section below is there for a reason.

What Nvidia actually does
It designs the chips that AI runs on. Not phones, not laptops, but the processors inside the data centres that train and run AI models.
It does not manufacture them. Nvidia designs; TSMC manufactures. That split is standard in the industry, and we explained why it matters when Musk decided to build his own factory instead.
The figures, as of 2 November 2026:
- 💵 Share price: around $205, in a 52-week range of roughly $164 to $243.
- 🏢 Market value: about $4.94 trillion, the second largest company in the world.
- 📊 Revenue over the last twelve months: about $303 billion, with net income of roughly $193 billion.
- 📈 Earnings per share: $7.91 over twelve months, putting the shares on a price-to-earnings ratio of about 26.
- 💰 Dividend: $1.00 a year, a yield of roughly 0.49%. Small, but it exists.
Why it comes up constantly: Nvidia appears in almost every AI story because almost every AI company buys from it. It has appeared in five of our own posts this month without ever being the subject, which is why we wrote this one.
Its next results are 17 November, after the US close. Options markets have been pricing a move of roughly 8% in either direction, which tells you how much uncertainty sits around that date.
What a price-to-earnings ratio means
It is the share price divided by the profit per share. Nvidia's is about 26, which means you are paying roughly $26 for every $1 of annual profit.
It is a comparison tool, not a verdict. A high number can mean a company is expensive, or that investors expect profits to grow. A low number can mean a bargain, or a business in trouble. The ratio alone tells you neither.
What it is useful for is comparing similar companies, or comparing a company with its own history.
How to buy NVDA from the UAE
The practical steps are the same for any US-listed share.
1. Open an account with a provider that offers US shares. On Nemo.money, that means downloading the app and completing registration, which includes identity verification. This is standard and required: any regulated provider has to verify who you are.
2. Fund the account in USD. Nemo accounts hold US dollars, so you convert dirhams once rather than on every trade. The dirham is pegged to the dollar, which makes that conversion more predictable than it would be from most currencies.
3. Find NVDA. Search the ticker. Nvidia trades on the Nasdaq under NVDA, with the ISIN US67066G1040.
4. Decide an amount, not a number of shares. This is the part people get wrong. With fractional investing you choose how much money to put in, from $1, and receive the corresponding slice of a share.
5. Place the order during US market hours. The Nasdaq opens at 9:30am and closes at 4:00pm New York time, which is 6:30pm to 11:00pm in the UAE, or 5:30pm to 10:00pm during US daylight saving.
Why fractional shares matter here
At around $205 a share, buying whole shares forces a decision you may not want to make.
If you have $300 to invest, whole shares mean one share of Nvidia and $95 sitting idle. Fractional investing means your $300 is fully invested, and it means you can spread $300 across several companies rather than being forced into one.
It also makes regular investing possible. Putting a fixed amount in each month only works if the amount can be any size, rather than being rounded to whatever a share happens to cost that day.
What you own is the same thing proportionally: the same exposure to the price, and the same dividend per share applied to your fraction.
The costs to understand
- 💱 Currency conversion. You convert dirhams to dollars when funding. The dirham's dollar peg makes this more stable than most currencies, but check the rate applied.
- 💸 Commission. Nemo.money charges zero commission on US stocks and ETFs. Not every provider does, so it is worth comparing.
- 🏦 Idle cash. Uninvested dollars in a Nemo account earn 6% AER interest, paid daily in USD.
- 🧾 Your own tax position. The UAE does not levy personal income tax on investment gains, but US withholding tax may apply to dividends, and your obligations depend on your own residency and nationality. That is a question for a qualified tax adviser, not for us.
What could go wrong
This section is the most important part of the guide.
- 📉 The price can fall, and has. Nvidia's 52-week range runs from about $164 to $243. That is a swing of roughly 48% from low to high within one year, in the world's second-largest company.
- 🎢 Results days move it violently. Options markets have been pricing a move of around 8% in either direction around 17 November. After its August results the shares rose nearly 9% the following day. The same mechanism works downward.
- 🏢 Customer concentration. A large share of Nvidia's revenue comes from a small number of enormous customers. We wrote this month about Alphabet, Amazon and Microsoft spending heavily on AI infrastructure. If they slow down, Nvidia feels it directly.
- 🔄 Semiconductors are cyclical. The industry has a long history of boom and correction, which is why memory and storage prices have swung so hard.
- ⚖️ It is a single company. One business, one sector, one set of customers. That is a concentrated position by definition.
- 🌍 And a lot is already expected. When a company is this widely held and this widely discussed, good news is often already in the price, which is a pattern we have documented repeatedly this month.
NVDA is an example to research, not a recommendation. Your capital is at risk. The value of investments can go down as well as up, and you may get back less than you put in.
Before you buy anything
Three questions worth answering first, for any share, not just this one.
- 🎯 Why this company, specifically? If the answer is that it has gone up a lot, that is a reason to be careful rather than a reason to buy.
- ⏳ What is your time horizon? Money you might need within a year or two sits uncomfortably in any single share.
- 🧺 How much of your total is this? A single company in a single sector is the least diversified thing you can own. Index funds spread the same money across hundreds of companies, and Nvidia is already inside most of them.
That last point is worth dwelling on. If you hold an S&P 500 tracker, you already own Nvidia. The ten largest companies make up roughly 38% of that index, and Nvidia is among them. Buying the share directly is a decision to hold more of it, not to start holding it.
