Bumble Climbing Again After Relaunch | Nemo

Name of opportunity: 👀

Bumble Inc

More than just a new coat of paint: 🎨

Lidiane Jones joined Bumble in January this year as CEO and has been making waves. Previously CEO at Slack, she relaunched the app with a crucial change: now, using a new feature called ‘Opening Moves’, women have the option to allow men to send the first message by answering questions the women put on their profiles. The app also has other new features (which might entice users to pay for Bumble Premium) and a new look with a refreshed logo. Since the relaunch announcement at the end of April, Bumble’s previously struggling stock has risen by 18.8% in the last month.

How hot is this investment opportunity? 🔥🔥🔥

Bumble is currently recommended as a ‘Buy’ because analysts think the company will do well under its new leadership - and given the stock’s recent low value due to poor financial performance, there may be a big potential for profit. Analysts like Ygal Arounian from Citi think the app’s new features are an especially good indication that Bumble may see better performance in the months to come.

Analysts predict the price of Bumble Inc. will increase from $12.28 to $14.64 in the next 12 months. This means that people who invest $1000 might profit $189.45.

Love is in the air: 💌

Bumble Inc is a holding company that operates several online dating platforms, including its flagship product Bumble. The app’s founder Whitney Wolfe Herd was also the co-founder of Tinder, and she was named in the famous ‘Forbes 30 under 30’ list twice, in 2017 and 2018.

While Bumble is a household name, you might not have heard of Badoo and Fruitz - these are two other dating apps acquired by the Bumble Inc holding company. Badoo’s special features include integrated video and voice calls. Fruitz is a fun and lighthearted dating app aimed at the Gen Z market.
